St John the BelovedThis is an icon of St John the Beloved, also known as the Evangelist and the Divine.
It was purchased by Fr Fred when he was in Greece in April. He obtained it from an Icon workshop in Meteora, north of Athens, which is the area of the famous remote monasteries perched on hilltops and peaks.
The icon was blessed at Easter and is placed in the foyer of St John's.
