In Memoriam

This year, three of our Bishops journeyed onwards into the Light.

Bishop Ian Hooker (b. 25/12/1930), 9th Presiding Bishop of our Church, passed into a higher life of service on 26th January. Bishop Ian was consecrated on the 3rd June 1990 at Sydney, Australia.

Bishop Alfred Lambden (b. 11/03/1926) passed into a higher life of service on the 31st January. Bishop Alfred was consecrated on the 25th May 1980 at Auckland, New Zealand.

Bishop Robert McGinnis (b. 4/08/1925) passed into a higher life of service on the 12th June. Bishop Robert was consecrated on the 22nd June 1979 at Ojai, California.

The Synod is highly appreciative of their dedication, their work, and their lifelong commitment to the very soul of our Church.

May they rest in peace and Light perpetual shine upon them.
